Life is a Thousand Miles Journey; Let's Start Today

Years come and go. During the course of years a lot of things happen in life. So many things go unquestioned and a lot of questions go unanswered. Some of the questions have the great influence in our lives and sometimes they play very important role to survive they are not based on the consumption of oxygen per day but they are more important than oxygen. There are few words which remain unsaid while others go unheard. Some dreams are buried alive while some are born dead. Happiness and gloom walk together hand in hand. Things that sometimes make us laugh become a reason to cry and then life moves on. This is what life actually is.
Bring Clarity into YOUR Life.

You will feel sometimes that with the every sunrise when you wake up with a mind that you work harder than before to achieve your goals, aims and objectives. And by the end of the day you end up with the waste of time and efforts and you get tired of everything and the word that you want to shout is:  “ENOUGH”. The effort is not worth it. It’s all too much for me! At this moment you feel life has stuck you down in the room filled with darkness all around you. Now who is going to direct you to give a ray of hope? Obviously it is none other than you, yourself. It is your life. You have to live it and you have to bring the sunshine into your life by enlightening your soul with the light of hope. When the hope is alive in our souls it gives our lives determination to move on as Frank David’s says “Our most profitable lessons are learned from failures not success”.

Failures do not mean that life ends. Don’t worry if you get injured in the battle field as a wounded warrior is superior to a healthy coward. What we have to do is to fight so hard that even the fate accept its defeat and laugh so hard that the sorrows smiles at you. We should try to begin difficult things while they are easy and do great thing while they are small because the difficult things must once have been easy and the great things must once have been small. Everyone knew that Graham Bell invented phone but few knows that he never made a call to his family because his daughter and wife were deaf.

It is very easy to judge the mistakes of others but very difficult to recognize our own mistakes and admit them. When this one thing we learn; to evaluate our own selves, then fifty percent of the problems are solved. Sometimes our good deeds are forgotten by others. Sometimes we are ignored. But still we should try to do well and give our best to lay down flowers on the path we are walking so that we may get garden in return.

There is not just one way to live a life. Sometimes we have to pave the path ourselves to live our lives. I have read somewhere that if there were only one door to life then there would have been only one key to life which would have ended it up. But that’s not true. Sometimes we are not using the correct key to open the door of our lives and at that point we get hopeless with our lives.

What I want to share is no matter what happens do not shrunk, have faith in God and gather yourself together and rebuild your life so that it turn well back again. Life is a constant challenge but it is worthwhile to accept it. Do or die was an old concept but do before you die is the new one. What we have to do is if thousand miles journey begins with one single step than start today!

I WISH YOU ALL A VERY BRIGHT AND HAPPY LIFE AHEAD J

P.S. Next Post will be on 12th April, 2012. Thank you for visiting. :)

  2. life is a real trouble or struggle for finding the truth and following it, however we end up making our ends meet 247/365 without eaven realising our actual responsibilities towards others and the Creator.
Because, we tend to worry more about the fast paced time in terms of personal financial gain with or without pain depending on the scenario.

    1. thank you Tariq sahab for giving such a meaningful comment. you are absolutely right. we sometimes ignore the responsibilities towards the Creator and its creature because the time and era moving now a days is much confusing and difficult than even 50years back. we wished alot in life but life is not that much long to fulfill all.

  8. Hello.
Life is one big journey we must all travel. It's filled with ups, downs, twists, turns, sadness, joy & most importantly love. Sometimes we will stumble, we will fall & we might even take a few wrong turns, but we are never lost because there is always a higher power guiding our footsteps. Where there is the slightest ray of hope, there is life. Life is a gift of love from God, so we should cherish it & enjoy it to the best of our abilities.
    Insightful post from you Almas.

  11. there is incredible wisdom in this piece. it is not optimistic or pessimistic. it is real in the suffering and real in the hope

'a wounded warrior is superior to a healthy coward. \"

i will remember this. i got my heart broken a few years ago and the shards are still all over the place. but i know i am emotionally brave and when i step away from judgment or trying to twist myself to acceptance, i am left with myself, and i kind of like that.

yes thats what we call "will power" a wounded warrior is always superior than a healthy coward ....what we need to build that will power.

yes broken heart and threads when joined together again they are not smooth as before their must be scars of deep wounds or breakages which reminds you the incident but still we had to move on as life not ends here there must be some ray of hope "the most profitable lessons we learnt only through our failures"
try to live for others people close around you, than you will never be left with yourself :)

      cheers :)
wish you a wonderful life ahead :)

  14. I sat with my cup of Bengal Spice tea reading this and felt warmed and soothed by both the tea and your words, Muhammad. I am reminded of The Desiderata, which I had posted above my bed all my teen years. I think those words imprinted on me to give me hope and strength in difficult years that followed. Your essay here is that kind of inspiration. Many thanks.
